Cecil's Cyclery Review: Driven Thin Tire

The Driven Thin Tire is a powerhouse, to put it bluntly. This thin tire is known for being a long lasting and reliable bike, giving riders an effortless and comfortable experience.

Unlike some of our other bikes whose purpose is simply to cruise, the Driven Thin Tire is made for heavier riders who may like the challenge of off-roading and steep uphill scaling. The bike comes with Speed Shimano gears, making uphill climbs seem easy with minimal effort. Additionally, the bike has a max speed of 25 mph with a throttle and five different levels of pedal assist and you can easily keep track of your speed on the bike’s digital screen that allows you to see the current speed, max speed, odometer, and the trip details.

As for the mechanics, the bike has 54 Volts fully charged and a 13 Amp Samsung Battery that pushes a 500 Watt hub motor and an output of 800W. On top of that, this Samsung battery has an amazingly efficient charging system, only requiring 4-5 hours for a full charge, ensuring a great, long ride. The battery is also user friendly with an included Color LCD.

According to our customers at Cecil’s who have ridden or bought this bike, they love this Driven Thin Tire because of its cruiser-like feel in combination with its fast motor. Other accolades include the five level pedal assist and efficient braking system. But overall, the common praise was the bike’s reliability, the Driven is truly a hard bike to beat when it comes to this.

So, if you’re looking for a bike you can count on, this is the bike for you!
